That's a tricky move, azucar. Kinda like patting your head and rubbing your tummy at the same time. I'm looking forward to Wendysue's pics (do post, please, so I can steal the image).

This list should help CW in her quest to find the rest of us just as normal as she (dangit, I don't know if that was proper grammar).

You no wyke Mr. Trebek 'n hees assence? I'm shocked ;o)

Thanks for listing me - I love the attention!

I saw Marie Osmond in a Carls Jr. Sei talked to her and said something like, "My wife loves your radio show..." I just stood there without anything to say because he was so full of crap!!

I heart Mayan chocolate!!! (did you try the creme brulee?)

I like knowing about how Marie Osmond attempts to disguise herself behind sunglasses at University Mall. I like how I've actually heard you say (to me), "Oh, you like it? My friend picked it up for me when she was in Paris." So good to meet you. And I like how you said nice things on my blog...I don't love Oprah either.

I wish I had a friend who went to Paris and bought me something. One more list of failures to add to my resume.

La Yen said...

That was to make people feel guilty. I actually don't have a resume anymore because I am a mom without a country.
I loves me the Marie Osmond. Good thing we are sealed or something, or we couldn't be friends.
I love Will Farrell as Alex Trebek. Does that count?

So the lab results came back positive for Mayan Chocolate eh? I just went to Raley's recently for my fix and... there was none in the freezer section - how can they do this to a preggers lady???!

suge - shhhhh... (tee hee!)

luckyred - Zee Accents? no. I like to hear you imitate the 'croissant'. Very nice.

tori - I can see Sei doing that. That's really funny. I'll have to tell you about the Chick-fil-A, involving my friend Lisa. We should get together some time, no?

lisa - manomanoman. I need to tell you that I'm not typically a Creme Brulee fan. At all. But I did get both ice creams...and I have a hard time deciding which I like better. Yum!

melody - pleasure meeting you! I told my husband what you said to me in the parking lot (about Paris and not being American), and that I took it as a huge compliment. Thank you.

yen - I like Darryl Hammond as Sean Connery telling Will Ferrell as Alex Trebek to, "Suck it, Trebek!"

queen - last night, Lisa recommended the Mayan Chocolate to me and I said, "Oh, yes, I remember you talking about that." She said it wasn't her. My pregnant brain could NOT remember where I had heard about it. I am so glad you said something so that I could know that it was you. Are you able to find it at any other store??

That's "S" words...

I like The Office more than I like being pregnant.

If you scroll down while reading the list it looks like it reads "Getting pregnant."

La Yen: want something from Helsinki? It's not quite the same as Paris, but it's the best I can do.

Eating creme brulee right now. All of like the third time I've ever had Haagen-Dazs.) I almost missed it because I though I was looking for creme brulee with mayan chocolate. I didn't think there was a way to top creme brulee.

I was just wrong about that.

And although I don't like Oprah either I have to admit I picked up her magazine while waiting the obligatory 20 minutes after my allergy shots. I was intrigued by a section about getting naked.

I will also have to admit something she wrote at the end inspired me. I hate to admit that, but it's true. It was something about making the time to take care of your body and how if you do that your body will take care of you.

I'm mulling it over.

Ironically I can still do that while eating my Haagen-Dazs.

CJane, then you'll LOVE Phoebe. . . she's been comin' up with some real doozies lately.

I'm with Kacy.

Topher ate the last of my creme brulee and I tried to be really cool about it like I didn't care, but we all know that I did. A lot.

Where would that rank with the cheese incident?

CW: "I" want something from Helsinki.

Everyone else: "I" want something from wherever you're going too.

:o)

P.S. A throaty and wet "Croissant" for ya's.

I had a friend who went to Paris and brought me back bath products (which I used up). Can't hardly invite people into the tub to show them off.

I love your lists! I guess I am going to have to rethink my gift of balloons tied to bouncy balls. Dang it!

~j. said...

That's funny, Sue.

About the bath products...

Did I ever tell you about the time that I came to your house to bring you something, and Richard answered the door? He said, totally serious/deadpan, "She's in the tub. But you guys are friends, go on up." Umm... I didn't know what to say to that. Then he smiled, laughed, and said, "I'm kidding. Here, I'll give it to her."

Lucky: of course you--crosser-off-of-my-first-seven--will get something from Finland.

~J: That's too funny. I'm reminded of every day for like a gazillion years while I was dating my husband I would go to his apartment because he would always give me a ride to school.

Every single day of those gazillion years his roomate, J.T.--totally pin-up georgeous J.T., would answer the door in nothin' but his towel. I mean he knew I was coming by every day, but without fail this delish looking guy would answer the door to me almost naked. I guess he figured we were good friends...

So I read on another blog something about Marie Osmond & Chick-Fil-A & they wouldnt tell me the story they said I needed to SEE it & ask you about it! Can you enlighten me??? :)

~j. said...

stephanie - ooohh, alas, i'm afraid it needs to be told in person, and by oh, judy! herself. That's the only way this story can be done any justice.
