post-game wrap-up

Thank you for your guesses and predictions. Here is what I learned today:

~One baby.

~Beating heart with four chambers.

~Spine.

~Nice balance of bone & fluid all in there.

~Placenta in the right place.

~Distinguished foot with beautiful great great toe.

~At least one very shapely hand and forearm.

~Child is willing and obedient; ie, "I can't see the heart very well because of that arm in the way." Cue Atchafalaya moving the arm out of the way.

~It is fun to wait until Christmas to open the envelope containing the ultrasound picture which indicates gender.

~While we are waiting, it is a good idea to read this.

~I may just get that post of my neighbors' house-lights-ridiculousness up this year. It would be a Festivus miracle.
