Gecko grill. Mango shrimp quesadillas. I would eat there for lunch and dinner, so that would be most of my day. There's also a cool ribbon store kind of near the temple. I like to stock up on all my hair clip- making supplies when I'm down there.
I would visit Steph. Have a donut at Vinchells. Lunch at Sweet Cakes. Shop at all the awesome antique stores downtown. And dinner at Chipotle (even though we have two in Utah now).
I don't know anything about the going and doing, but I would eat at this little Mexican place called Tortas Paquime (I believe). A friend of JC's dad owns it. It's an orange building about a block or two west of the Mesa Temple. Good food!
I love that whole area. Mesa, Phoenix, Tempe, Gilbert etc... In Tempe there is a place called Romancing the Bean that has fabulous breakfasts and desserts. It's also fun to see all the cool architecture and sculptures lining the streets.
In-N-Out Burger. Nuff said.
