to whom. . .

Dear Tio,

Thanks for holding me for my haircut, even though I hated it.

Love,

Bubby (your twin)

Dear Brookey,

Thank you for inviting us to your wedding. It was absolutely beautiful. So freaking hot outside, I melted. The ceremony was so touching. You are a stunning bride.

Also, thank you for introducing me to Magic Shell in 1996.

Love,

me

Dear Mr. DeMille,

I'm ready.

Love,

Superstar

Dear Olympics,

Can we just agree to eliminate the "music" during the women's gymnastic floor routines? The moves never go along with the songs, which sound like they came from a toothpaste commercial anyway. And speaking of gymnastics, what's with the scoring? 15.575? What happened to 1-10? Math's hard. Don't make it harder.

And if you screw up my national anthem one more time, and don't correct it immediately, you and I are no longer friends.

Preesh.

Fondly,

~j5t.

Dear Guille,

You know you love me, so stop playin'.

Love,

Superstar

Dear Ladies,

Thanks for the superfun night. En serio.

Thanks for making me finally feel like I'm a part of something after 5 years of living in this particular 'hood. I can't wait until next time!

Love,

me

  2. Looks like you had a fantastic girls night! Ahh, the Olympics. I know - the scoring could not be more complicated! Although, I do try to sound all smarty when I'm watching it. "15.675? Hmmm, Germany would have to score a 16.786 in order to beat them to the medal round. That means they can't waiver on the bar and they have to hit that triple deuce switcher dead on..."

Sadly I will not be here on Saturday!! Just found out last night - you know I would do it in a heartbeat if I could. Next time, I swear!

Then again, his favorite memory of that night, the one he tells everyone about, is the horse peeing.
