Extreme Makeover Home Edition in Utah

You've seen the show. And though you might not watch it regularly, it gets you right here every time you see an entire episode, right? Because these people are bringing communities together for the sake of a family in need.

Extreme Makeover Home Edition made a stop in Utah this year, it was very exciting. And where they made their stop is an ideal location when it comes to community and New Homes in Utah: Daybreak.

I've written about Daybreak before, and I do think it would be a cool place to live. Anyone considering Salt Lake City Houses should seriously consider the Daybreak community.

The episode, which airs this Sunday, introduces us to the Gomez family, and we get to meet Jonah, the young boy who suffers from a rare blood disorder, has had to have open heart surgery, and for whom there has been no bone marrow match found. The community rallies around this family and . . . well, you know how it goes.

Go set your DVR right now to record this week's episode of Extreme Makeover Home Edition. For you locals, there's an additional hour-long program immediately preceding the show called Daybreak Dream Come True, which may be worth watching as well. Check your local listings.

And if you think about it, after you've watched it, please come back and leave a comment letting me know what you thought.

**Disclosure: I was compensated for writing this post. Even so, the opinions I've expressed are my own. And I really already do have my DVR set for Sunday. Now go set yours before you forget!**
