Last year I wrote about triathamom, and at the time I was super excited to race.
I didn't know when I wrote about it that I would be getting, and taking advantage of, a last-minute opportunity to go to Hawai'i, which meant that while the race was going on, I was enjoying a cheeseburger in the sunshine of Oahu .
Not this year.
(I mean, probably.)
Triathamom is happening again this year, and I'm really excited to be racing.
On Saturday I'll be swimming, biking, and running alongside (and, let's be honest: behind) many other moms who are looking to cross this item off their bucket list, or just up for a fun and supportive racing atmosphere.
The event will be held at the Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center, a former Olympic venue. I'll be there with my cheap goggles (hoping they don't fall off when I dive in), my bike (praying to not get a flat), and my supercool running shoes (which always make me run faster). For good luck, I'll have my dad there with me, all the way from New York, cheering me along.
Interested in registering for Triathamom? I think there are still spots left, but hurry! Hope to see you on Saturday!

Do what the Olympic swimmers do and wear two swim caps with the goggles in between them! Good luck with the race, you're fabulous for doing it!
That is great that you are doing this! One of these days I will have to get in good enough shape to do something fun like this.
Bless you! It's a really wonderful thing you're doing.
